1. Point of View – does the author realize who his/her audience is?

1. Dramatic Tension – is there a struggle somehow?

1. Emotional Content – does this piece make you want to laugh, cry, smile, etc?

1. Voice – is the voice clear, easy to understand, appropriate?

1. Soundtrack – does the background music fit?

1. Economy – is the piece JUST long enough – not too long or too short?

1. Pacing – is the rhythm working? It’s not too slow or too fast?
